On April 10, Huaxian Optoelectronics (00334) announced the data of LCD module products for March 2017.

In March, the company's sales increased by 47.8% year-on-year to 296 million; non-fit modules increased by 43.9% year-on-year, totaling approximately 132 million; the fit module increased by 51.1% year-on-year, totaling approximately 164 million.

In the first quarter, Huaxian Optoelectronics' sales increased by 29.8% year-on-year to 813 million; the fit module increased by 86.7% year-on-year, totaling approximately 414 million; the fit module decreased by 1.4% year-on-year, totaling approximately 399 million.

According to the company, the sales growth in the first quarter was mainly from the sales of mid-to-high-end products, including LTPS and Incell products, which drove the overall ASP growth. Among them, the increase in sales of non-bonded modules is due to the increase in non-bonded LTPS module orders for individual customers, but the non-fitted LTPS module ASP will be higher than the general non-fitted modules.

In addition, Huaxian Optoelectronics said in the announcement that the company's fellow subsidiary Wuhan Huaxing Optoelectronics' 6th generation LTPS-AMOLED project officially signed a cooperation agreement in March, plans to invest in the 6th generation LTPS-AMOLED flexible display panel production line, the monthly production capacity will reach 45,000 sheets, the main products are small and medium size flexible foldable AMOLED display panels.

With the advancement of the project, the company hopes to deepen the synergy with Wuhan Huaxing Optoelectronics to make its upstream LCD panel supply layout more complete.
